It takes three minutes to walk to the Klein Matterhorn ski lift and 10 minutes to the centre of the village where the main bars and restaurants are located.
This stunning upper 5 star duplex penthouse apartment is situated in a unique elevated and sunny position in Zermatt's “Beverly Hills” region of Winklematten, offering breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn and the surrounding mountains. Built in a typical Alpine style and clad in weathered wood, Chalet Ulysse - The Penthouse, combines contemporary with classical Swiss architecture.
The chalet features a stylish living room with wood fire place and Matterhorn view, open plan modern kitchen, dining area, four double bedrooms (two with TV and DVD) and three bathrooms. There is broadband wireless internet access throughout the chalet which also features cable TV, DVD and an integrated surround sound system. The extendable teak dining table can accommodate up to 12 guests. This is a rare chalet style duplex penthouse apartment finished to a very high standard with exceptional views.
The lower ground floor has a ski room, laundry and wellness area. There is a pine wood sauna, rainfall shower, WC and relaxation area with flat-screen TV and surround sound. This can be booked for private use on request. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | This property is catered by a qualified chef who is assisted by a host providing breakfast, afternoon tea and servicing of the rooms daily.
Canapes are served with aperitifs at 19:30 and dinner is a 4-course gourmet affair (served 6 out of 7 nights), accompanied by selected house wines. There is an open bar provided throughout the week with beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks.
Should you have a preferred tipple do let us know so we can ensure we have it in stock. Should you wish to upgrade to a particular wine selection for the week, a Sassicaia perhaps, then we can offer a credit towards your wine bill. Please do ask for a wine list if this is of interest.
We also offer the option of high tea for younger guests with adults able to dine at a later time.
